I’m Elena, the creator and artisan behind this ceramic space. Born in Germany and raised in Ioannina, Greece, to a German mother and a Greek father, I grew up in a home that blended two cultures — fueling my curiosity and creative spirit from a young age. 

While my path began in language — studying German language and literature, earning a Master’s in Conference Interpreting, and working as a teacher, translator, and subtitler — I eventually found myself drawn to a different form of expression: ceramics. Though words and clay may seem worlds apart, both allow for storytelling, creativity, and deep connection.

When I first worked with clay, I was captivated by its transformative nature. Shaping and experimenting with texture and form gave me a sense of creative freedom I had never known. As I immersed myself in the craft, I knew I had found my true artistic language.

Today, I’m passionate about sharing this joy with others through workshops and classes, guiding students as they discover the magic of working with clay — just as my mentors once did for me.
